Easter Weekend

It was a long weekend for me, which was fabulous. I not only had Good Friday off, but they gave me Monday off too! Saturday was spent at Clemson for a regatta, which was unsuccessful. The first time since I've been on the team that 1.) I haven't medaled in a race and 2.) NOONE medaled. It was a rough day.

However, Sunday was very pleasant. Cony, Emily, Jordan and myself went to Clark & Rachel's ward in Cartersville. Parents came up and we had a great dinner thanks to Rachel. Then the kids dyed eggs naked and Rachel & I got to hide them. I forgot how much fun that was. So here are a few pictures from the long beautiful weekend.

So I realize that the time is quickly approaching to get taxes done. I'm holding off because I have a feeling I owe money. If I do, I just don't want to know... because that means giving up certain things that I really have my heart set on. It's going to be a sad day if this is the case.

Anyone want to do my taxes for me? And if I owe... want to pay for me?

My little secret...

So now that I'm getting to know this whole little blog thing, I feel compelled to tell a little secret of mine.... I'm accident pron. I'm not just talking a little bump here or there, I'm talking about bumps that are sending me to the hospital. Kaiser Permanente has yet to confirm our application, so my dear Cony is my Dr. Cony. My foot is currently soaking in a big pot of hot water with epson salt, my left wrist is in a brace, bruises all over my right knee.. let's see what else? I'm sick! Soar throat, achy body and headache.

I hope it doesn't sound like I'm complaining, I just wanted to share my pain.

But I have another secret. I have the BEST husband ever! He won't like for me to share with the world that he is beyond amazing, so I will just leave it at that.

Care Free Life

Cony and I have been married now for almost 3 months, and we are loving life. Although we are busy and don't see each other during the week, we can't complain. We have great jobs, a roof over our head, cars that run ($932 later) and Cony is doing really well in school.

It's spring break this week, so we took two days off to spend together. It's been wonderful. It has felt like we were dating again. We let the house work go, went mountain biking, and watched movies. I really don't want to go back to work tomorrow. Why can't we live this care free life everyday??!!
