$150 vs. $9

For a long time I have spent a lot of money (too much money) on a good hair cut and color. I have always known that you get what you pay for when it comes to hair. However, in order to save money I decided to take advantage of a sale at Great Clips. I was in and out in 20 minutes, and it looks like it. My right side is shorter than the left and even Cony noticed.. so you know it must be bad.

I want to continue to do simple things that will help save money, but this is ridiculous! So I'm asking.. if you have a great stylist and they aren't out of this world expensive.. please let me know!

Hm -- this is an internal conflict for me as well . . . I don't have much advice, except that . . . I can sympathize with you!

I have a woman I go to that I love, but she's a little out of the way for you. She's located on Peachtree Industrial in the Norcross/Peachtree Corners area. Really close to the church building over there on Spalding. Anyway, the place is called Sharp Haircuts and her name is Libby and she's fabulous. A cut and style is about $30. Not sure about color since I haven't put anything on my hair is far too long. Good luck!

I go to Great Clips and always have the same problem. I have to come home and try to cut the stray hairs that some how ended up longer...I've never been able to pay much for a haircut though.

Just don't go that expensive or that cheap!! I have to drive 30-45 minutes to continue going to the same lady that has cut my hair since high school but she does a great job and only charges $20!! All I can say is take a little bit of time and money and try and find someone that is not too expensive and does a good job! It might take a while but it is sure worth it!!
I will never trust any great clips ever!!!! They have never done a good job on me!!!!

I go to a lady I found in my ward to get weaves done for about 40-50 dollars. If it's just a haircut, I go to fantastic sams or one of the other cheaper places. You have to find the right hair cutter. I have had som really good haircuts for only 12 bucks!

yeah, okay... don't go there unless you know someone who will do a good job/or you're a man and it doesn't matter much.
I go to Grow Salon in Decatur. I spend about $120 for a cut and color, Brittany is my stylist and I LOVE her. I'm SUPER picky too... I too believe you get what you pay for. I'm the only one on here that apparently spends TOO much money too... but I knew that already! Oh well...Good luck lady!

MEG!? You got married!? I tried to do the same thing - cut back things to save money. I, too, tried the cheap haircut and next time I'm gonna pay the money. Some things I can do without but this won't be one of them...
